    1. Keep a scarf in your bag in case you visit a religious building/area.
    2. Avoid Public Display of Affection (PDA) for example kissing, intimate touching, etc. This applies to both men and women.
    3. Don’t give out your Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp/email address/phone number to men (including guides, porters, etc.) you don’t know well.
    4. If you use tampons – bring plenty with you.
    5. Always make sure someone knows where you’re going if you plan a stroll in Islamabad.
    6. Don’t be afraid to be rude if a man is making you uncomfortable. e.g. proximity, stares, etc.
    7. Never rush into a relationship/marriage with someone you don’t know.
    8. Do not get involved in a religious debate or question. You can purchase books on that.
