It has also been shown that this task requires good hydration. Being in good form and being hydrated are essential. The following medicines are advised by several high altitude doctors for use in the treatment and/or prevention of disorders associated to high altitude.
Diamox, for instance, 125 mg twice daily. beginning the day before the ascent to an altitude of more than 8,000 feet for sleeping. Keep going till you reach the highest elevation.
Decadon pills, 4 mg.

Nifedipine Albuteral or a salmeterol inhaler Viagra/Cialis Gingko Bilboa

No matter how much you exercise or how physically fit you are, altitude disease still has a chance to kill you.
If you experience any sickness when travelling, consider altitude sickness a possibility. If in doubt, always immediately descend to a lower elevation!
