ZIPAIR Will Offer Flights Between San Franciso and Tokyo Starting at $91 One-Way

Soon, passengers traveling between San Francisco, California, and Tokyo, Japan, will have a new low-cost choice.

The much-awaited decision to begin flights between Tokyo Narita and San Francisco International Airport has finally been announced by ZIPAIR. The airline said in a statement that the new route will begin on June 2.

What makes the news the best? The new flights will be inexpensive, with one-way fares beginning at just $91.

President of ZIPAIR Shingo Nishida remarked, "We are thrilled to announce the launch of the San Francisco-Tokyo Narita route. We are convinced that this service will serve as a useful conduit for business and cultural interchange for our mutual clients thanks to our cooperation with SFO.

On the new route, the airline intends to start operations with five flights per week, departing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. One checked bag is included with the low-cost flight for the journey, which is a significant discount in today's economy.

The carrier's third route across the Pacific will be the service to San Francisco. On its international lines, it already operates flights to San Jose Meneta International Airport and Los Angeles utilizing a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

Japan Airlines founded ZIPAIR in 2018 and is its owner. Despite being a budget airline, the company provides free Wi-Fi to passengers in all classes of travel. Additional features include a self-ordering system that enables passengers to buy food and other items using their smartphone or tablet during flights.

From its base in Tokyo Narita, ZIPAIR offers flights to six foreign locations: Los Angeles, San Jose, Singapore, Bangkok, Thailand, Seoul, South Korea, and Honolulu, Hawaii.

With the elimination of its daily entrance restriction on tourist arrivals in October, Japan reopened to visa-free travel from dozens of nations across the world. This made it simpler for tourists to organize their own trips to the country without a required reservation via an authorized travel agency or tour operator.
